SOGÉ STUDIO is a Brooklyn-based surface design studio that creates innovative prints for fashion, home, and accessories, and stationery.
At the studio’s helm is Brooklyn-born Stephanie Ogé, a graduate of NYC’s Fashion Institute of Technology who also studied abroad at Polimoda in Florence, Italy.
Though she focused on apparel design early in her 10 years in the fashion industry, working for various sportswear brands in NYC, Stephanie quickly fell in love with the textile aspect of design and dreamed of one day having her own studio. It was a life-changing trip to Jaipur, India – where she learned the techniques of the natural dyeing process and the creation of block printing – that really ignited her passion for textiles and inspired her to pursue it full time.
An inveterate daydreamer, Stephanie finds inspiration for her trend-focused prints almost everywhere she looks, from graffiti on urban walls, to tile work on a bathroom floor, to the intricate prints in vintage clothing.
As SOGÉ STUDIO, she now creates one-of-a-kind prints through a hand-drawing process using different mixed mediums married with digital techniques. Her esteemed list of clients includes Ninewest, Gap, Macy’s, Fila, Modani and Limited Brands, among may others.
